Is There a Connection Between What We Eat And How We Feel?
The answer is … YES!
Fact is that what we eat and drink affects everything… the look and texture of our skin, our hair… but, especially our thoughts and actions. Just think for a moment how you feel throughout your day. Sometimes you feel fuzzy and tired right after lunch… sometimes you are so energized after a great meal… and sometimes you feel agitated, and irritable.
First of all, this doesn’t mean that you have failed or that is something wrong with you. The simple fact is that one diet doesn’t work for everybody the same way.
As your partner along your journey to reconnect with food, I assist you in filtering through the overwhelming abundance of information that surrounds us regarding what food to eat and how to choose the best suppliers.
My approach is a nurturing approach intended to activate that part in you that instinctively knows how to eat well, what to choose and when to stop. I think our body knows what it needs already… you just have to give it the chance to show you how responsive, intelligent and sophisticated it is. I have deep respect for its wisdom and my goal is to teach you how to listen and understand its messages and needs at a much deeper level than just a sensation (of hunger, sleep, etc), awaken you intuitive resourcefulness and empower you to grow into your own wellness expert.
Taking good care of yourself is, in the end, YOUR real health insurance, and believe it or not, the foundation of taking care of the world around you… not only that…when you are healthy, it ripples out into the quality of your relationships, your community, and the rest of your environment.
